Instructions:
1. Vehicle battery voltage < 9.0 V
The 12 V indicator light flashes - the system indicates that the vehicle's operating voltage is 12 V but the battery is too low to allow starting. Press the 12 V button for three seconds to activate the jump starter and start the vehicle within the next thirty seconds.
2. Battery voltage between 9.10 V and 15.0 V
The 12 V indicator light is illuminated green - the system indicates that the vehicle's operating voltage is 12 V and is ready to start. CAUTION: If you are certain that the vehicle's voltage is 24 V, press the 24 V button for three seconds to change the voltage to the jump starter and start the vehicle. CAUTION: If this operation is carried out incorrectly on a vehicle with a 12 V system, it could cause serious damage to the vehicle's CPUs and could cause the batteries to produce hydrogen: EXPLOSION HAZARD.
3. Battery voltage > 15.0 V
The 24 V indicator light is illuminated green - the system indicates that the vehicle's operating voltage is 24 V and is ready to start. Start the vehicle within 30 seconds.
On vehicles without a battery or with a very low battery, the voltage indicator lights may not light up.
In this case, the polarity sensor will not indicate any polarity errors, so proceed with caution:
1. Make sure that the connection polarities are correct.
2. Manually select the voltage by pressing the 12 V or 24 V button for three seconds.
3. Jump start the vehicle and then quickly disconnect the clamps from the battery.
