TT plastic spacer

RECA TT spacers enable terrace boards to be laid easily and precisely. The bolt determines the spacing of the boards to one another. No additional spacer is needed. The resulting ventilation of the terrace boards leads to the terrace lasting considerably longer.

Application area:

Terrace boards should be laid with a gap of at least 5 mm and ideally 7 mm. For woods that contain a high level of wood moisture during installation (e.g. as is often the case with Bankirai) and contract significantly afterwards, a spacing of 4 mm may be used. This prevents the formation of excessive gaps. This approach must not be taken with woods that are extremely dry during installation. At the starting side of the first board, the RECA TT spacer is broken off at the predetermined breaking point and used. Under the other side of the board and for all other boards, RECA TT spacers are placed fully underneath and the boards screwed down. The boards should be screwed down so that the terrace screws are driven through the punch-outs, fixing them into place. For the end board, RECA TT spacers are broken off as with the first board and put into position.
