STREET PLUME

GRANULE ABSORBENT FOR ALL TYPES OF LIQUIDS

Mineral absorbent (made of siliceous volcanic rock subjected to a particular process of thermal expansion) for all types of liquid. Appearance: solid, coarse-grained. Colour: white. Granule size: 2 - 5 mm nominal. Product must be disposed of according to regulations governing the absorbed substance.

Field of Application:

Used for the absorption of contaminant liquids, oil products, acids and hydrocarbons which have accidentally been spilled on the ground (service areas, streets, motorways, etc.).

Advantages:

The abrasive nature of the material and the total absence of clay-like substances allows for good adherence to asphalt, even if granules are not perfectly removed from the soil after reclamation, unlike similar products. Non-slip. It does not create sludge. Natural. Non-Toxic. Fire-resistant (non-combustible class A1 D.M. 10.03.05) Does not degrade or rot. Biologically and chemically inert. It does not contain toxic additives. Non-volatile. Insoluble in water. Saturated Street Plume can be recognised by its darker colour.

Instructions:

Spread STREET PLUME as close as possible to the liquid being absorbed. The thinner the layers, the more the absorbent the effect. Saturated STREET PLUME presents itself in the form of agglomerated mass; it is easily recognisable by its darker colouration In presence of contaminants of a certain consistency, use simple mechanical means (brooms, shovels) to intensify the action on the contaminant Cease operation when STREET PLUME no longer changes colour
