Single-component, neutrally binding silicone sealant that cures in the presence of atmospheric moisture at room temperature, forming an elastic, UV- and
weather-resistant rubber. The silicone adheres excellently to a wide range of surfaces and adapts well to movement. Easy to extrude. Does not emit unpleasant odours. Cannot be painted over. Contains fungicide that prevents darkening of the joint.
Excellent adhesion to most materials used in construction, such as stone, concrete, brick, wood, glass, metal etc...
Not compatible with butyl rubber used in double glazing.
We recommend performing adhesion tests on any materials not known to the user.
Instructions for use:
To achieve optimal adhesion, the surfaces must be clean and free from dust, grease, oil, water, pollution, rust etc. In some instances, it is recommended to perform cleaning with organic solvents (alcohol, acetone or MEK) in addition to mechanical processing to completely eliminate all contaminants. In some situations and for some materials, it is also necessary to use primers. Never use soaps, detergents or water. Place the nozzle on the cartridge and cut it to the desired joint width. Squeeze out the sealant with the application gun to perfectly cover the entire joint, ensuring that the edges are filled. Spread using a rounded spatula. Very deep joints must be filled with filler to prevent the sealant from sticking to the bottom. Any changes to the joint must be performed before the skin has formed.
Field of Application:
Suitable for sealing carpentry and joinery work, expansion joints, perimeter joints, glazing, aluminium, lacquered wood,
manufacturing processes requiring low odour levels (non-irritating vapours), covers, unsubmerged pipelines, pipes, cable entries...
Advice:
Not suitable for rejoining underwater and in contact with tar.
