Adhesive films in class 2.
These adhesive films are made from a reflective PVC that is highly adhesive and weather resistant.
Waste collection bins, glass collection containers and recycling containers (medicines, batteries, plastics etc.) are considered fixed obstacles and must be marked as such with red and white reflective adhesive film covering an overall area of no less than 3200 cm2 of the bin, which can be split into sections (Fig. II. 479/a).
In urban areas, where high traffic volumes and sources of light pollution or a high level of ambient light coexist, reflective films must normally be class 2 as referred to in Article 79(10).
The adhesive films must be applied to the corners of each obstacle so as to form the characteristic chevron configuration with the vertex facing downwards.
