Natural clay (sepiolite calcined at 800°C). Colour: light cream. Granule size: 0.25 to 0.60 mm. Oil absorption: 75-85%. Water absorption: 110-130 %. Useful wherever fat, oil and liquid absorption is necessary (machine shops, body shops, printing, etc.. It can be used for the recovery of chlorinated solvents used as degreasers, from which it is capable of extracting grease, odours and colours. Storage: store in unopened container in a dry, cool place (away from rain water, oils and other liquids).
Advantages:
Non-toxic. Non-flammable. Chemically inert. Characterised by high absorbency. Ideal for replacing sawdust. Good non-slip properties in case of accidental spillage.
Instructions:
Sprinkle and rub onto chosen area several times; once absorbed, sweep and collect. Product can be used several times until dark mint all over (indication of product saturation). At this point, product must be treated according to the regulations governing the substances that have been absorbed.
Advice:
Avoid excessive dust formation; use of protective goggles is advised. If necessary, use suitable protective mask for powders.
