Lockriv blind studs are used when high-strength assemblies are required on thin materials. Many car factories, industrial bodywork repair shops, electrical equipment and household appliances use the Lockriv because it has significant advantages: The chamfer on both ends of the stud (pointed head) allows fast insertion into the nozzle of the riveter and into the hole on the piece to be assembled. The deformation of the washer body ensures high tensile strength, filling the hole into which the rivet is inserted and providing excellent retention on materials such as aluminium, fibreglass and plastic. It also has a pleasing appearance, leaving the surface clean and free from sharp edges. Locking the stud inside the body ensures a structural joint.
