Advice:
Legislative Decree No. 209 of 24 June 2003, implementing the directive 2000/53/EC. From 1 July 2005 the exemption expires for any vehicle using lead counterweights. From July 2005 every vehicle with a capacity of up to 35 Q is required to mount zinc alloy balancing counterweights. Motorcycles and industrial vehicles over 35 Q are currently excluded from the decree.
