Advice:
The multimetre is declared cat. IV up to 600V, whilst in Cat III up to 1000V: meaning that outdoors guarantees 600V insulation, whilst indoors 1000V.
When working on electric cars, regulations (PES/Pei) require Cat III-1000V insulated instrumentation, as it operates indoors, in the workshop.
