When screwed connections are made mechanically, load peaks occur that often cause premature wear of the bit or destroy the screw. These load peaks are minimised by the torsion zone and the screwing process becomes safer and more productive.
This extends the service life of the tool. The bits have a sprung torsion zone that deflects energy from the advancing tip when load peaks occur.
Field of Application:
Phillips recessed head screws
Advantages:
The elastic torsion zone dampens high torque peaks, thereby preventing the advancing tip of the bit from breaking. This ensures the bits offer a long service life.
Advice:
Tough bits. Ideal for screw connections in hard materials such as sheet metal or metal.
