Rice paper tape or washi tape is an adhesive masking tape consisting of a backing made of strong, thin Japanese yellow paper (washi), coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. This decorating tape is perfect for easy and precise protection of surfaces prior to painting. Furthermore, the tape is ideal for highly decorative work, as it can be used to draw lines and geometric shapes with perfectly defined edges.
