AWS A 5.3: E 4043 STANDARD
Special electrode for welding aluminium with 5% silicon content (Aluman, Anticorodal, Avional, Duralumin etc.).
Application area:
Indicated for welding of laminates and aluminium castings up to 12% silicon.
Instructions:
The welding area should be thoroughly cleaned before welding. If the thickness exceeds 8/10 mm, preheat to 100/200°C. Slag easy to remove. The electrode coating is very sensitive to moisture.
