The raised edges of the clamp prevent nicks in the hose. The inside of the clamp is smooth with no cavities or raised areas.
The clamp cannot open by itself. Stainless steel band and lock. There are no welded or riveted points. The recessed hexagon head screw can be tightened using either a normal screwdriver or a flexible screwdriver (can be used up to an angle of 90°). The outer edge of the housing guides the end of the band.
