Advice:
*) Back current drain is the current that the charger drains from the battery if the AC cord is disconnected. This value is on average 30 times lower than in conventional chargers. **) The quality of the charging voltage and charging current is very important. A linear charger produces current characterised by high oscillation, which leads to overheating of the battery and premature ageing of the positive electrode. High oscillation can also adversely affect devices connected to the battery. CTEK XS battery chargers obtain a high quality current with very low oscillation. It is therefore not necessary to disconnect the battery from the vehicle.
